“Relinquishing Dreams” was a site-specific installation work that created an otherworldly room with a rippling curtain covering the windows, used as a projection surface for a video of the view of the windows in the daytime. (The piece was experienced at night). Participants were encouraged to take a dream relinquishing prompt off of the wall, fill in the blank, and either put it back up or bring it home. The project instilled the idea that, within one lifetime, we cannot be all things we might dream of. Perhaps in another life.
